The Donner Pass Summit Tunnel is a historic and one of a kind hike; you will be walking through an abandoned railroad tunnel. Don’t forget your flashlight, your good shoes and some extra company! For more information, visit: Train Tunnels
There is a fair amount of water that gets into the tunnels, so wear the right shoes. In the winter, the water turns into ice. It can be really slick in spots, so be cautious.
